Verónica Manavella was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina. Working in drawing and watercolor, her visual research focuses on the reality that surrounds us. The artist, also a Philosophy student in Paris, takes her memories and images from her daily life and manipulates them to shape a distorted, often anecdotal, even naive representation of the world. A quest for the bizarre, the abnormal and the strange, unconscious confessions and symbols, her works raise a myriad of questions whose answers lie with the viewer.
