Born in Ponte Nova / MG, Brazil, 1984, Eduardo Fonseca graduated in Painting at the Federal University of Minas Gerais / Brazil, 2009 and did his masters in Painting at Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon / Portugal, 2013. He lived and produced his works in different places like Belo Horizonte, New York, Lisbon and now Paris. His work has a very particular social/political critique of the contemporary society, just like the palette and the characters he uses to represent his acid, sarcastic and humorous point of view. He doesn’t like coriander and believes that in the end everything will work out, even if the path was not exactly what we thought it would be.
